The Anderson County Sheriff's Department Records Unit is responsible for
recording and storing case files. Located on the fourth floor of the
Robert Jolley Building the Records Unit maintains all
incident, complaints and accident reports generated by the Sheriff's
Department. Records assists the public by locating reports, researching
past incidents, and directing them to other agencies as needed. Reports
are retrieved and made available upon request to the public.
Once a report is received, the Records Unit's function is to enter case information into
the computer. This allows Sheriff's Department personnel future access to specific information
in each case.
The Records Unit accepts payment for public requests. These public requests include
copies of incident and accident reports. Please note, cash is the only accepted form of payment. We do not accept credit or debit cards.
